Wayne Longcrier is the owner of Longcrier & Associates CPAs overseeing both the tax and accounting and attestation functions of the business. He works with a variety of clients, including many small and mid-sized businesses, closely-held entities, and financially diversified individuals.
His areas of expertise include tax planning and tax compliance, as well as transaction planning and business consulting. He has worked extensively with vineyards and wineries, wholesale distribution and manufacturing companies, contractors and real estate development companies, and the medical industry.
Background
Mr. Longcrier graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Bakersfield in 1974. He also holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He has been an accounting instructor at California State University, Bakersfield. Mr. Longcrier was a partner with a large regional accounting firm for 20 years before starting his own company in July 2008.
He and his wife Kathy have two adult children, Kristen and Kate.
