Matt Martin

CPA Partner

Matt Martin is a CPA Partner with Longcrier & Associates CPAs, LLP. Matt provides corporate, partnership individual tax law compliance services and tax planning strategies. Primary clients served include small and mid-sized businesses, closely-held entities and financially diversified individuals. He serves clients that operate in a variety of industries but has focused on real estate, professional service and manufacturing. Matt is an important part of recruiting and training talented new staff. After a tax season internship, Matt joined the firm full time in August of 2009 and obtained his CPA license in 2012.

Before Matt pursued his career in accounting he served as a medic in the Army with the 1st Ranger Battalion and deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Matt went on to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting & Finance from Cal Poly. Matt lives in Atascadero and is married with a daughter and son. When not at work Matt enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities that include hiking, fishing, and kayaking.

• Bachelors of Science in Accounting & Finance from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California in 2009.
