JayMe Phillips is a Tax Manager with Longcrier and Associates CPAs, LLP and has over 30 years of public accounting experience. She graduated with Honors from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She also holds a Graduate Certificate of Completion in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She works with individuals, estates and trusts, small to mid-sized businesses in partnership and corporate form, and not-for-profit entities. Her areas of expertise lie with interrelated entity tax planning/preparation and not-for-profit entities. Clients include those in technology, construction, real estate, investments, family businesses, and physicians/dentists.

JayMe is married with two grown children, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and numerous rabbits. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts, quilting and any activities involving animals.

Staff Accountant

Clare is a Staff Accountant with Longcrier & Associates, CPAs, LLP. Clare obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Economics from Mills College in 2019. She has experience with bookkeeping and preparing federal and multi-state tax returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, consolidated entities, trusts, and high net worth individuals.

Clare grew up in Atascadero before she moved to the Bay Area for college. She is thrilled that working for Longcrier & Associates has given her the opportunity to return to her roots on the Central Coast. Along with her passion for numbers, she pursues her interests in helping animals, visual art, and supporting local businesses in her free time.

Taylor graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor’s in Business Accounting. Taylor grew up in Morro Bay before going to Montana for college. She is excited to be able to come back to the central coast to be close to family. In her free time she likes to be outside whether it is at the beach or out on a hike.

Connor is a Staff Accountant with Longcrier & Associates, CPAs, LLP. Connor graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. He has experience preparing federal and muti-state tax returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, consolidated entities, trusts, and high net worth individuals.

Connor grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally a Computer Science major in college, he continues to pursue his interests in information technology, cyber security, and graphical design.

Deanna Turner is a Supervisor at Longcrier & Associates, CPAS, LLP. Deanna graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento in 2008. She graduated cum laude with a Master of Science in Accounting with a specialization in Taxation from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2012. Deanna is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Deanna has worked with a variety of small and mid-sized businesses and is experienced in the areas of individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax planning and compliance as well as multi-state taxation of business entities. She serves clients in various industries including professional services, vineyards and wineries, manufacturing, and real estate.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and hiking.

Martin Leon Rodriguez is a Senior Accountant who started with Longcrier and Associates CPAs, LLP in 2012. He obtained an A.S. degree in automotive technology from Allen Hancock College and worked as an automotive technician for ten years. Martin then proceeded to obtain a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University in 2010 and began his career in public accounting with a small local firm. He has experience in diversified individuals, partnerships, corporations, not for profit organizations and winery inventory costing.

Martin obtained his CPA license and looks forward to delivering quality service to his clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He stays active by playing in a men’s soccer league. He has been married to his wife Mayra for over twenty years and they have three children, Gerry, Darianna and Santiago. Martin still has a passion for the automotive field and is a classic car enthusiast. He continues to maintain his automotive technology skills by restoring his 1968 and 1966 Ford Mustangs.

Lily graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 2025 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. She grew up in Salinas before moving to San Luis Obispo. She is grateful for the opportunity to stay local where she is close to friends and family. In her free time, Lily enjoys trying new sweets, playing volleyball, and road trips along the Central Coast.
